About this session

Employee listening produces many findings; the harder question is what to change. Welliba examines how internal feedback, external sentiment and peer comparisons can point to a practical intervention, where those sources may mislead and how to check a concern with employees before choosing measures of improvement.

Learning outcomes

  • Assess whether different listening sources support the same concern.
  • Identify a question to validate with affected employees.
  • Connect a priority intervention to a meaningful measure of change.

This session will explore

  • Compare internal feedback with external sentiment and peer evidence.
  • Examine limitations that can distort the apparent priority of an issue.
  • Check a proposed intervention with employees and choose measures of improvement.

Context

Employee listening can produce more findings than an organisation can act on. Prioritisation requires an understanding of whose experience is represented, where comparisons may mislead and what improvement would look like.
