About this session

The decision from the preceding panel reaches the workforce-plan and People Analytics leadership test. David Green puts the provisional recommendation to Dawn Klinghoffer, Alexis Fink and Jeremy Shapiro. They challenge whether task improvements represent real capacity, how the work and workforce should change, what fairness and validity questions remain, and what People Analytics should recommend or develop next. A new piece of hypothetical evidence forces a final decision and makes disagreement - or the conditions for agreement - explicit.

Learning outcomes

  • Test whether an AI improvement justifies changing the workforce plan.
  • Identify a fairness or validity issue that could alter a recommendation.
  • Explain how new evidence changes a decision or its conditions.

This session will explore

  • The workforce implications of the provisional decision from the preceding panel.
  • Usable capacity, work redesign, fairness, validity and People Analytics priorities.
  • How new hypothetical evidence changes the recommendation and the conditions for agreement.

Context

An operational AI decision still needs a workforce-plan test. This closing panel builds on the preceding fictional case to examine whether task gains represent usable capacity, what should change and what People Analytics should recommend.
