About this session
When AI changes part of a job, its organisational effects reach beyond a list of automatable tasks. Orgvue follows a worked example from tasks to roles, hand-offs and accountability, compares design options against capacity, cost and service quality, and identifies the assumptions leaders must test before changing team structures.
Learning outcomes
- Connect a task change to its organisational consequences.
- Compare alternative role designs using explicit criteria.
- Identify evidence needed before implementing a structural change.
This session will explore
- Trace changes in tasks and activities into roles and hand-offs.
- Compare design options using capacity, cost and service quality.
- Identify assumptions to test before changing structures or accountability.
Context
Automating part of a job can change responsibilities and dependencies elsewhere in the organisation. A design decision needs to account for those effects before leaders alter team structures.
