About this session

Organisations often assess transformation through enterprise outcomes or individual adoption, while overlooking the team where new priorities, technologies and ways of working become everyday practice. This interactive roundtable explores team adaptability and resilience through organisational effectiveness, social psychology and systems thinking, asking what enables teams to respond constructively to change and what evidence can reveal whether those conditions are actually present.

Learning outcomes

Identify team-level conditions that support adaptation during sustained change.Distinguish individual change measures from meaningful team-level evidence.Consider practical indicators for assessing team adaptability and resilience.Compare approaches with peers facing similar transformation challenges.

This session will explore

What team adaptability and resilience look like during organisational change.Conditions that help teams adjust while maintaining effective collaboration. What organisational effectiveness and systems thinking reveal about team change.Signals and measures that indicate whether teams are prepared to adapt.Practical experiences of building adaptability across different organisational settings.

Context

AI, changing priorities and evolving operating models are increasing the frequency of change experienced by teams. Leaders need ways to understand whether teams can adjust how they collaborate, make decisions and learn without relying solely on individual adoption measures or organisation-wide indicators.
