About this session
Intel's AI4EE programme brings hands-on training, hackathons, manager enablement and community support together around engineering work. Examine the choices behind that approach: common enterprise foundations, role-specific application and reinforcement through managers and peers. Consider what is transferable to your organisation, and where evidence of changed practice is still needed before making claims about business value.
Learning outcomes
- Identify gaps between providing AI access and enabling workflow change.
- Assess which conditions to establish centrally and which need local adaptation.
- Connect formal learning with opportunities to practise and share useful approaches.
- Clarify how managers and peers can support continuing behaviour change.
- Frame People Analytics questions that test changed practice, not just activity.
This session will explore
- Common enterprise tools, governance and learning alongside locally relevant use cases.
- Learning designed around real problems, immediate application and visible value.
- Hackathon examples feeding training, with office hours supporting continued practice.
- Managers, champions and communities as mechanisms for practice and reinforcement.
- The questions People Analytics can investigate without overstating current evidence.
Context
AI investment depends on employees changing how they work, not simply accessing new tools. Where training lacks relevance, practice or reinforcement, organisations risk funding participation without improving workflows, decisions or the value created by their workforce.
